Maureen Lloyd, daughter of Jackie Brown, the popular local musician/pianist, is now living in Germany and would like to get in touch with an old school friend, Diane Whitehouse. They were at Cheslyn Hay Primary until 1957 and then at Great Wyrley until 1961. Maureen doesn’t know her married name, but she was brought up by her grandparents and aunt and uncle Christine and Bill Whitehouse living at the old coach house. We have a very interesting wartime photograph of a local Home Guard. There are about 30 in the ‘Dad’s Army’ platoon but only two are named – Alf Heminsley & Ivan Thomas. Does anyone remember these two gentlemen?
