Another successful Exhibition with the new book ‘Cheslyn Hay – Those Fleeting Years’ going particularly well.

The Darren Butler Project on the histories on all the older properties in Cheslyn Hay drew the most comments for the professional manner in which it was displayed and is a project we must develop upon for next year. Also the volumes of Peoples Photographs which total in excess of 2500 produced as many enquiries as the main photograph display in the hall and is something we must expand upon in the future. And, as expected, the 1911 Census proved to be very popular. People have also commented about our new polo shirts and how easy it was to pick out the committee for enquiries.
We are laying on a display at Harrisons Club in Wharwell Lane Great Wyrley on Thursday 22nd October at 7.30pm to lay on a display for the Miners Association. There will also be an excellent speaker there and the admittance is free.
