<description>Dear Cheslyn Hay District Local History Society.
My wife and I read in your 16th May 2010 News Letter you have some recently located photographs of the Pearson family, is it possible to visit and view these?
I was in touch previously about a Saul Pearson who may have misbehaved in some small way in the past but sadly it turned out not to be my Pearson line which is still causing us problems, can anyone help?
We are looking for the birth place, date, and parents of Henry Pearson, my Gt. Gt. Gt. Grandfather, born approximately 1805. He married Elizabeth Benton on 16th December 1827; she was born on 8th October 1802 in Rugeley where they married.
1851 He says he was born in Cannock,
1861 He says he was born in Wyrley
1871 He says he was born in Cheslyn Hay
1881 He says he was born in Gt Wyrley.
{We realise all these are in a very close proximity to each other and may well have led to this error}.
From 1841 to his death in 1887 he lived in Rugeley.
If we could visit from N. Wales we would be very pleased.
Regards and thank you.
