22nd February 1919 Stafford Advertiser   An inquest on the 14th inst on the body of Alfred Edwin Stathers aged 29 of Cheslyn Hay, who was drowned whilst skating on the reservoir near Bridgtown.

22nd February 1919 Stafford Advertise At a Cannock Rural Council meeting held on 14th inst Dr Hosegood ( medical officer of Health) stated that influenza was again prevalent in the district particularly among infants and children.
