We have 5 tickets left for our  trip on Thursday 18th July  to Leicester to visit the resting place of Richard III . The cost is  £10 for the coach and if you would like to visit the Cathedral an extra £3.

What Happened This Week 50/100 years ago…by Mike Belcher

Cannock Advertiser  12 June 1969  Plans for Extension of the Cheslyn Hay Community Association still intends to continue with their plans.

12/6/1969  Plans well in hand for playgroup in Cheslyn Hay

Cannock Chase Courier  14th June 1919  Cheslyn Hay streets shall be tar sprayed as soon as the council can get the tar.

Sunday Tea at Cheslyn Hay by Pamela Bate relating  the normal Sunday afternoon routine when visiting her grandparents mentioning her relatives

We received the following email from Rachael Willgoose
“I drive past a farmhouse and surrounding buildings next to Cheslyn Hay Primary School when I go to the Hollybush Garden and Aquatics Centre, I am interested in buildings and farming history and would be very grateful for any information that you have or can find out about this intriguing property.”
