Our Forthcoming Speakers Night due to a miscalculation we have 6 ticket available at £6 each for  Thursday 26th September 2019 7.00pm with the renowned  historian Lesley Smith as Queen Elizabeth I. Please remember this will be a ticket only evening, no paying on the door.

Much interest was manifested in the special sermons held at the Primitive Methodist Church given by the Rev. Alfred Altree, a former Sunday school scholar.

30th August 1919   Story on the Parish Clerks pay being increased.
23 August 1919  Cheslyn Hay and Penkridge fireman were engaged in dealing with a serious fire at Hilton Farm.

Responses  Alan Willets emailed us re our recent articles on the Holloways to say he remembered  the family well,Nelly, later Chapman, Gwen, later Meacham, we all called them aunty. They played in pub darts teams with my mother Villa. Happy memories.
