Contempt of Court In connection with the previous case, Thomas Lockett, of Cheslyn Hay, failed to put in an appearance in answer to a charge of using obscene language.
Memories Mike Shorter emailed us last week. It was a bit like “Back to the Future* when I read in this week’s newsletter about my dad (Harry Shorter) being fined 5s 6d and that my mother to be (Hettie Brough) gave a recitation in the Sunday school. At the time they were only aged 15 and 16!
