Green Belt gap between Cannock, Cheslyn Hay and Great Wyrley “island” vital as claimed at an appeal to an inspector for the Secretary of State for the environment by Standek Properties Ltd. against the refusal by  Cannock Rural District Council to give planning permission for housing development on land on the south side of Dundalk Lane and Moons Lane junction.  Full story.

Cannock Adverister and Courier  8th January 1921  Details of the victory for Cheslyn Hay United over Cheslyn Hay Villa in one of the finest games witnessed on the Barn Flat Ground in the Penkridge Cup.
Also a football match is being arranged in the township between the Institute past and present players for charitable objects naming the players available.
