Due to Covid Restrictions we have been unable to continue our research of the newspapers at the local libraries, to avoid disappointment we are including reports from previous years where possible.

11th June 1921 Story of the Joint Small Pox Hospital Committee of the Cannock Rural and Urban District agreed to purchase two huts to be erected at Cheslyn Hay, as a Small Pox Hospital but Cheslyn Hay heartily objected to the small pox hospital being placed in its midst.
