Happy New Year to all our members

Thursday 13th January is our first chat n cha of the new year, we hope you will all be able to join us for a cuppa and a musical quiz

Our opening hours are reduced 10.00 am until 1.00 pm. to allow time for us to provide a covid safe environment. We are providing hand sanitizer at the entrance and we would urge all visitors to use it. The wearing of facemasks will not be compulsory but we would encourage visitors to consider wearing a face mask to help protect themselves and other visitors.

The funeral service of Mr. Harry Linnel took place at the Bethel Methodist Chapel, Bridgtown, last week Cannock Town in the very early century, and he also played for Cheslyn Hay Cricket Club.

On Wednesday evening of last week the decease took place of an old resident of Cheslyn Hay, in the person of Mrs. Elizabeth Hawkins of Hill Street.

On Sunday evening a large congregation was present at the Salem Methodist Church when a Dedication Service was held, conducted by the Rev. John Naylor. At the close of the service fifty three new friends were registered as members of the church, a large proportion of them being young men belonging to the Young Men’s Institute.
